I had words on the Explainability with the friend JY.
She is in her graduate course in a different lab.
She became an "implicit" lab leader and concerned different stuffs compared to me, because of her position.
One of her concerns was the objective of the topic seminar. In her previous lab, she was trained to get across the seminar content not using the slides: the problem setting, the importance of the problem, challenges and techniques. She explained two papers in that way without any pause, and it was impressing. She thought it would be good to apply the same methodology to her current lab for presentation but in her opinion she was not in a position to compel.
I was thinking how I can acquire that explainability for any thoughts. The graduate program could be all about acquiring such explainability for a specific area.
